Together, we will
Transform the
White House
Transgender people, including non-binary people, have experienced a constant onslaught of hostile actions and dangerous erosion of our rights under the Trump administration. It’s time for us to elect a President and Vice President who care about trans people, our families, and our allies.
Transform the White House is a project of the NCTE Action Fund.
This is a project of the National Center for Transgender Equality Action Fund.

What will you do to help trans kids in schools?
How will you ensure trans people have access to affirming, life-saving, medically necessary healthcare?
As a cisgender person with many transgender loved ones, it is important to me that our next President will support transgender communities unequivocally. How do you plan to address the violence faced by transgender individuals throughout this country, especially transgender women of color?
Will you pledge to only vote for a fully inclusive Equality Bill that does not have conditions or amendments that disqualify Transgender or gender gender diverse people being covered?
If you become President will you create a pathway for intersex, non-binary and transgender individuals to obtain neutral gender markers on their passports and at the Social Security Administration?
Do you support equal rights for all people in the United States?
Given all of the recent steps backwards on trans rights and LGBTQ rights more generally, what do you see as the priorities or focuses for building a more inclusive society and increasing acceptance of queer and trans folks in the US and how would you, as president, contribute to these goals and rebuild after the Trump administration?
What rights will you uphold for transgender people, especially in housing, employment, healthcare and gender identity, expression and sexual orientation protection in hate crimes and our defense in court as well?
Why can’t we have consistent healthcare coverage for trans procedures such as hormones, chest reconstruction, and gender confirmation (aka bottom surgeries)?
Do you plan on making the healthcare system simpler to use for transgender individuals?
The Equality Act has passed the House, but how do you plan to get it fully signed into law?
How will you ensure that transgender people can access both routine healthcare AND more specialized care? My state is intent on passing a law allowing licensed providers to refuse services and it terrifies me as someone trying to do preventative care so I don’t die early from heart problems like my father.
